Diane J. Biesel - Cofounder of St. John Press - Published 1/5/26

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of our cofounder, Diane Biesel, who left us peacefully on December 17th, 2025, after a courageous health battle. Diane was so much more than a cofounder — she was a loving grandmother, stepmom, sister, aunt, and the devoted wife of David for 42 beautiful years. She had a deep love for books, buttons, and above all, her family, and she poured that love into everything she touched. Diane’s warmth, creativity, and gentle spirit left a lasting mark on all of us. She will be missed more than words can express by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
